British Eventing Jump Training at Aintree Equestrian Centre
We are delighted to be hosting BE Jump Training once again. After a very successful day in 2018 we expect the day to book up quickly.
Further details and booking information can be found on the link below:
Baileys Jump Training (JT) is open to both BE Members and non-members and is a great opportunity to compete and train before the season gets into full swing. The series also boasts the unique training element where BE Accredited Coaches are on hand to provide advice and feedback on your jumping in real time.
The Baileys JT series runs from November through to the Championship at the end of February.
Riders gain invaluable feedback from BE Accredited Coaches on their show jumping skills in a three-phase training competition:
- Phase 1 – Involves a course walk in a group with a BE Accredited Coach
- Phase 2 – Riders receive a guided warming up session prior to the competition, again with a BE Accredited Coach.
- Phase 3 – The competition phase, whereby riders jump one round, get feedback from the Coach and jump again.
Both of the rounds of show jumping are given marks for style, effectiveness of riding and the quality of the horse’s jump and paces. Any show jumping faults over the two rounds are then included to produce a final score.
JT80 – Max. fence height 85cm
JT90 – Max. fence height 95cm
JT100 – Max. fence height 105cm
The top 25 per cent qualify for the Jump Training Championship, the 2020 championship will take place at Moreton Morrell, Warwickshire, on 22 February.
IMPORTANT NOTICE – As per our terms and conditions, all horses attending the Centre must be fully up to date with annual vaccinations, and must not have had any vaccination in the 6 days prior to attending.
