Aintree Equestrian Centre is thrilled to be hosting another Original Equestrian event. An amazing opportunity for 1:1 lessons with top trainers, Matthew Burnett or Charlotte Smithwhite, Nigel Coupe and Beatrice Stocks-Seals. Definitely one not to be missed, further details below:
The BIG Camp at Aintree Racecourse
Monday 20th July – Wednesday 22nd July 2020
The chance to improve your riding skills with lessons in Show Jumping, Dressage and training on the Aintree Gallops. Perfect for both beginners and proven amateurs as all lessons are matched on ability.
Monday 20th July
Arrive between the hours of 2-4pm.
5.15pm induction talk.
Chance to have a group hack around the gallops to settle your horse in.
Evening meal and entertainment on site – get to know your fellow campers.
Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd July
Riders will have one day with a Dressage Lesson and Session on the Gallops and the other day will be a Show Jumping Lesson. Please see the two sample days below:
First Sample Day:
45 minute lesson in pairs with Grand Prix Dressage Rider and Trainer Mat Burnett or Charlotte Smithwhite. You will be have the chance to work on areas of concern for dressage tests and your horse’s general way of going.
1 hour lesson in a group of four with BE Trainer Beatrice Stocks- Seals on the Aintree Racecourse Gallops. A chance to work on fitness training, learn about the speeds required over the XC course and to build your confidence in speed work.
Second Sample Day:
1 hour lesson in a group of three with Nation’s Cup International Show Jumper Nigel Coupe. You will have the chance to work on challenging technical fences and combinations, techniques to improve your ability to get clear rounds and to help you and your horse’s confidence over the poles.
There are a few spaces on camp where it is possible to ‘Pick and Mix’ your lessons (every rider does the gallops – but you may select to have 2 Dressage or 2 Show Jumping lessons). Please contact Katie if you wish to take this option.
Additional unmounted workshops available on both days at an extra cost – exact details to be confirmed (previous examples: Pilates, riding confidence, massage)
Evening entertainment on the Tuesday – details tbc.

Use of the onsite showering and toilet facilities.
The opportunity to watch other lessons during camp.
