Qualification criteria
It is the competitor’s responsibility to adhere to the rules and qualification criteria. Should any riders be found in breach of these during or after the show, they will be disqualified and no refunds will be made.

Horse/Pony/Rider combinations who have finished in the top 6 in any of the above listed Unaffiliated Showjumping Shows qualify for the Championships.

Horse/Pony/Rider combinations must jump the height they have qualified in at the Championships. Should Horse/Pony/Rider combinations qualify for more than two classes, they must compete in the two highest classes at the Championships (i.e. if qualified in the 50cm, 60cm and 70cm classes, the combination can compete in the 60cm and 70cm classes). This is to ensure that all entries are made in the spirit of the show and that all qualified combinations have the opportunity to compete.

Combinations that have competed with British Showjumping (excluding Club Classes), between 30th September 2025 and the date of qualification, at any height above the class that they have qualified for are not eligible to compete (e.g. a competitor that has jumped 85/90cm tracks with British Showjumping at the time of qualification will not be eligible to compete in the 80cm class at the Unaffiliated Championships)

No outside assistance is permitted at the Championships.

Unaffiliated Competitions are run under British Showjumping rules, with the exception of spurs. Junior riders are not permitted to wear spurs.
