Anyone that wins prize money at Aintree International Equestrian Centre needs to update their BACS details on their horse monkey profile.

This information will then be used to transfer the prize money to their bank account.

Please note: It is the competitor’s responsibility to provide bank details in order to be paid prize money. Bank details must be provided via HorseMonkey within 7 days of the event, otherwise prize money will be forfeited.

As per our terms and conditions, all horses STABLING at Aintree EC must have had a booster vaccination against Equine Influenza in the PRECEDING 6 MONTHS, and be 6 days clear of having had any vaccination.

The last vaccination must have been between the 30th March 2025 and the 24th September 2025.

ALL PASSPORTS WILL BE CHECKED ON ARRIVAL. Horses will not be permitted to stable at Aintree if they do not have the correct vaccinations

Stabling and hook ups – No stabling or hook up refunds after Wednesday 24th September, although we will try and resell the stables if possible. If the stable is resold, we will then issue a refund.

Entries – No refunds once the draw is published

National Amateur classes have been created to give amateur BS members an annual National Amateur Final to aim for.  There are 4 different classes at different heights: 85cm, 95cm, 1.05 & 1.10.

The finals are a week along show held at Aintree Equestrian Centre in Liverpool.

To qualify riders must jump  5 double clears in a National Amateur Qualifier class, with the same horse at the same height, within a 12 month period, which runs from 1st September- 31st August.

There is a wild card chance to qualify via second rounds, normally held September/October.  To qualify for these a horse and rider must jump a double clear in a National Amateur Qualifier at the relevant height.

There are no restrictions on horses but there are on riders, so that it is restricted to Amateurs.

At the finals there are also Veteran classes, for which the only qualification is the riders age, and additional classes that can only be entered by horse and riders who have qualified for the show.  Meaning a full week of competition is available to all.

At the finals each height has two qualifiers, held over the week, for the Sunday’s Grand Prix Finals.  The final qualifiers are 5cm bigger than the qualifiers, e.g. the 85cm is 90cm. The top 20 riders from each go through to the final days Grand Prix.

Brick Yard Premium Permanent stables for the duration with rubber floor and walls (including 2x bales of bedding) – Vaccine must be in the past 6 months – £TBC

Barn style temps for the duration- undercover (including 2x bales of bedding)– Vaccine must be in the past 6 months – £TBC

Only duration stables are available for this show. Available Monday 10^th to Sunday 16th/Monday 17^th November 9am.

All unaffiliated show jumping competitions will be held under current BSJA Rules.

Horses/ponies must only be entered once in each class.

Competitors entering the Junior Cross Pole class are only eligible to jump in the Cross Poles and 50cm classes.

AGE CLASSIFICATIONS –

Junior Classes – Under 16 years on a pony ONLY.

Senior Classes – Under 16 years on a horse OR over 16 years on a pony (if over 16 years on a pony, be aware courses are set to horse strides)

Spurs are not permitted for Junior riders.

Appropriate competition dress must be worn by all competitors.
